KuneKune Pigs

The Kunekune pig comes from New Zealand. How they got there is a mystery as they are not indigenous to that country. The Kunekune pig, originally kept by Maoris in New Zealand, for meat living not in enclosures, but free to scavenge around the houses. They are a friendly hairy pig born in a variety of colours. It is the smallest domesticated breed of pig in the world, a firm favourite among pet pig owners, due to its placid friendly nature and love of human company.
